We love it when existing clients have new projects for us! While renovating the main floor of their Colonial-style home, our client found out they were expecting a baby boy! They asked us to help design and lightly renovate a pink room (previously used by an older sister) and turn it into an eye catching nursery.
There are a couple of small updates that really helped clean up the room to give it a more polished look and feel. First, the crown molding helped provide a clean border around the room. Secondly, painting the beadboard gave the walls a higher-end finish. Lastly, placing a large area rug to fill the room laid the foundation for all of our furniture and accents.

We had our eye on a blue camouflage wallpaper print by Philip Gorrivan for some time and were excited to suggest it for the nursery. Our client loved fresh white walls, so instead of papering the wall, we did the ceiling! It, in turn, inspired a modern safari theme.
Felt animal heads provided the perfect mix of rustic charm and texture to the wall above the understated and modern mid-century crib . The wispy rattan “twigs” in the pendant light formed an eye catching nest in our modern habitat.
